1988 Lynn Gravley founds North Texas Carrier Corp (NTCC), an asset-based contract carrier company.
1994 NTCC moves into the dedicated 3PL logistics (third-party logistics) field and continues to provide contract carrier services with a multi-truck fleet. The idea of establishing a full-service logistics provider grows.
1999 Gravley founds NT Logistics to take over and concentrate on NTCC’s expanded logistics business.
2001 NT Logistics receives the Southern Methodist University Cox School of Business / Dallas Business Journal award for the second-fastest-growing privately held company in the Dallas area as part of the Dallas 100 awards.
2002 NT Logistics expands operations with an additional office in Houston, Texas and adds an agency in Lubbock, Texas. The company finishes fifth in the Dallas 100 list of the fastest-growing privately held companies in the Dallas area. Additionally, for the first time NT was named one of the Top 100 3PL Providers.
2003 Gravley is honored as a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award. NT Logistics is a finalist for the Celebration of Enterprises Award by the Inside Collin County Business Journal. And for the third straight year, the company is recognized by SMU’s Cox School of Business and the Dallas Business Journal in the Dallas 100 listing. In October, NT opens a new agency in Springdale, Arkansas.
2004 For the second consecutive year, NT Logistics is a finalist for the prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award, and its continuing rapid growth keeps it on the Dallas 100 list of the area’s fastest-growing privately held companies.
2005 Steadily climbing revenues land NT Logistics on the Dallas Morning News’ annual list of top 200 privately held companies.
2006 NT Logistics moves to expanded, state-of-the-art facilities in Frisco, Texas to accommodate its growing number of employees and increasingly sophisticated technology. Once again, the company is included in the Dallas Morning News list of top 200 private companies.
2010 As part of a continuing commitment to environmental responsibility, NT Logistics applies for and becomes a part of the U.S. EPA’s SmartWaySM Transport Partnership.
2013: Gravley joins UNT Logistics Center Board of Directors.
2016: NT Logistics announces newly created NT Specialized Division upon the acquisition of Anchor Freight, LLC. Read the press release here.
2018: Gravley is appointed by Governor Greg Abbott to the board of directors for North Texas Tollway Authority.
2019: NT Logistics and University of North Texas announce 10-year partnership for Capstone Case Competition backed by NT’s $200,000 pledge.
2021: Gravley is reappointed by Governor Greg Abbott to the board of directors for North Texas Tollway Authority.
2021: Gravley is honored with a Distinguished Alumni Award by the University of North Texas.
